Football player busted for Uzi robbery

Louisville CB Rod Council allegedly entered a convenience store and brandished what appeared to be a nine-millimeter Uzi. Apparently robbing people with an Uzi is against the law. Even for marginally elite athletes.

Emmitt Smith's NFL Mock Draft..Hilarious!

From: http://walterfootball.com/draft2008emmitt.phpEmmitt Smith is upset. ESPN has made a ridiculous decision to leave the best football analyst to ever grace our television sets off draft duty. To compensate, Emmitt has compiled his own 2008 NFL Mock Draft. As a reminder, Emmitt is the best, and I   more...

Missed Call on Punt Return Causes Louisville to Lose to UCONN

The punt return guy called a fair catch. After catching the ball and everyone stopping, he ran the ball back for a touchdown. Way to blow that one Zebra!!!

Rutgers a legitimate national contender this year?

Before Rutgers fell to Cinci and WVU last year, there was talk about them running the table and being in the National Championship game. Many people, including myself, thought that this would be a stretch. The reasons were that they started too low in the rankings (unranked) and their strength of   more...

Brian Brohm, University of Louisville, HEISMAN? BCS National Championship?

Why not? Is this the real reason Brian Brohm came back for another year. We know he is not a better QB than JaMarcus Russell, however should he have entered the draft this year I personally think that Notre Dame's ex-QB Brady Quinn would be falling one more spot back in the draft because Brohm   more...

NFL Draft 101; 7 Round NFL Mock Draft

The staff at NFLDraft101.com got together and conducted their 1st annual 7 Round NFL Mock Draft. We created war rooms for all 32 teams (no trades allowed) and broke the staff into AFC and NFC draft teams. The results were surprisingly and in the Eagles cases downright surprising (someone has to   more...

Brohm and Woodson; the two best QB's in the NCAA.

These two QB's are easily the best two in the nation right now. Last night during the Louisville and Kentucky game it was obvious that Woodson and Brohm were going to showcase their ability. Yes the defenses were horendous, but with that said both QB's made plays for their teams and put both teams   more...

Too early to talk about but, Brohm or Woodson

Brian Brohm has been penciled in as the #1 NFL Draft pick for awhile now, but Kentucky's Andre Woodson has scouts drooling with his powerful arm and 6'5" frame. I know it's too early to talk about this, but keep it in mind today as the Louisville Cardinals square off with the Kentucky Wildcats.

That was a shocker: #18 Louisville loses to Syracuse Orange

In one of the most surprising upsets ever, #18 Louisville lost to perhaps the worst D-I school in college football, Syracuse. The Orange had been the most inept and furthest team from victory in their previous 3 games, but scored 38 points against a hapless Louisville defense. They gave up 4   more...
