Toledo wide receiver Eric Page entering NFL draft
Toledo wide receiver Eric Page is leaving school a year early to go into the NFL draft.
Page's decision, announced Thursday, is a bit of surprise. He says he's been told that he likely won't be selected until the third round at the earliest.
Page is passing up a chance to break the NCAA's record for receptions in a career. He would have needed just 44 catches next...

Toledo WR Eric Page to Enter NFL Draft
Toledo Rockets junior Eric Page has decided to skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft. According to reports, Page has acknowledged he has been given a third to fifth round grade. That was apparently enough for the Toldeo native. Page will skip a chance to set the MAC record for receptions in a career (he is currently tied for first with 306 receptions) and possibly the NCAA...

College Football 77 in 77: #67 Toledo Rockets
Eric Page is the best wide receiver you’ve never heard of. He’s the Toledo Rockets main weapon and MVP, and probably the best talent in the MAC. Page is one of the most underrated players in all of college football, and it’ll be interesting to see how the conference’s best team gets him the ball in their potential two-quarterback system.
Will the Toledo Rockets...

Dantin to Page Gives Toledo Hope
Toledo, Ohio – "Yes it was a big disappointment,” Toledo headman Tim Beckman said after Friday’s 41-2 loss to Arizona. “We're extremely young at the quarterback and wide receiver position. We have to go back and look at film and correct our mistakes. We stubbed our foot a few times with penalties or a negative play. Their defense caused a lot of that and played very...

Aaron Opelt Likes the Spread Very Much, Thank You
Opeltulant to opposing defenses
What better way for the Buckeyes to get the bad taste out of their mouths than to get up for a matchup with the nation’s leader in total offense. Yes, that would be Toledo senior quarterback Aaron Opelt and his 437 yards of offense per game.
It didn’t always come easy for [...]

Cubs release yet another top draft pick
Mark Pawelek was released today by the organization. The Cubs drafted him in the 1st round in 2005 out of some high school in Utah. Never a good move, in my opinion, to draft somebody from a school where there is little or no talent. Why not select some dude from Anchorage High? Anyway, a week ago the Cubs released 2003 1st round pick Ryan Harvey. I wouldn’t be too surprised...
