New Mexico sophomore cornerback Devonta Tabannah will rejoin the team next week after being suspended for a violation of team rules.
Lobos coach Bob Davie announced the decision Wednesday. He says Tabannah will be with the team Monday when the Lobos begin preparing for the Sept. 15 game at Texas Tech.
Tabannah sat out last weekend's 66-21 victory over Southern in the season...

New Mexico junior quarterback David Vega has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
The suspension was announced Tuesday by Lobos coach Bob Davie, who says Vega was arrested early Sunday by Albuquerque police.
Details of the arrest weren't immediately available.
Davie says that until he's satisfied that he has all the facts, he won't make a decision on Vega'...

Demarcus Rogers scored a 2-yard touchdown with 1:15 left Saturday as New Mexico defeated UNLV 21-14 for its first victory of the season. Rogers' run capped a 34-yard drive set up by Jaymar Latchison's fumble recovery with 1:58 remaining.
