Watch: Michigan hockey player makes one of best passes you will ever see

The University of Michigan hockey team is on its way to the Frozen Four after beating Michigan State 5-2 in the NCAA regional final on Sunday.

One of the big goals to help put the game away in the third period was scored by Gavin Brindley. It came just 12 seconds after Dylan Duke had scored the go-ahead goal.

While Brindley might have been the one to put the puck in the net, it was the pass by Frank Nazar Jr. that is going to get all of the highlights and attention. For good reason.

It might be one of the best hockey passes you will ever see at any level of the sport.

Just have a look at this play.

Look at it from a closer angle and the reverse angle to an appreciation for just how incredible this pass is.

Just having the thought process to attempt that play in that situation, and then actually make the pass is impressive enough. But the placement of it to not only feed it through multiple Michigan State defenders, but to also put it perfectly on Brindley's tape is just an unbelievable play.

Nazar was one of Michigan's top players this season and was a first-round draft pick (No. 13 overall) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Plays like that are why his college team is on its way to the Frozen Four with a chance to win a national championship and why his future pro team probably cannot wait to get him into the NHL.
