Report: James Johnson to transfer to Liberty

James Johnson is headed to his third school in four years. The former San Diego State and Virginia big man will finish out his collegiate career at Liberty, according to a report from Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com. Johnson played the first semester of his career with the Cavaliers, but left the team during the middle of the season and transferred into Steve Fisher’s program.

Women's tennis knocks off UCSD, 6-1

The San Diego State women's tennis team stepped out of Mountain West play Sunday to battle crosstown foe UC San Diego and came away with a 6-1 triumph in a non-conference dual match at Aztec Tennis Center.
