Stover had hunch about last UCLA meet vs. Cal
Anthony Stover is no fortune teller, but every now and then he gets a hunch.
"I'm not saying I predict the future, but my mom always called me lucky," said Stover.
The last time UCLA played Cal, he got a hunch. Something didn't feel right.
"I actually made a comment to Josh (Smith) before the game. I was like 'I'm not feeling this. Our team doesn...

Kevin Love: The New Big Fundamental
When Kevin Love declared for the NBA Draft in April 2008, I shook my head. Like Tyler Hansbrough, who was dominating college basketball at the time, I thought of Love as only a college player. He didn’t have what it would take to muster a valid career in the NBA. He would average 10 and 5 for a few years, find himself caught in the middle of a packaged three team deal, then slink...

Mentality holding back UCLA's Smith
As UCLA center Joshua Smith prepared to leave Oregon's Matthew Knight Arena last Saturday, his family members told him that he "didn't look happy" on the court.
As he sat in a chair and addressed the media inside UCLA's J.D. Morgan Center Press Room on Wednesday there was still a sense of him being glum.
Smith admits he hates losing. The last taste of game...

UCLA 2012 football recruiting class full of “star power”
Over the past decade or so, the athletic programs at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) haven’t had the lustre they once did. The legendary basketball program has been up-and-down, the baseball program average at best, and the football program has been a revolving door for head coaches, with several coming and going in a short amount of time.
Maybe with the...

UCLA Cheerleaders Only Exciting Part Of Fight Hunger Bowl
Even the homeless who were fed probably didn’t even have a good time watching the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl between the UCLA Bruins and the Illinois Illini. The 2011-2012 All-UCLA Transfer Team

Also they weren’t able to prove themselves against ranked teams in Kansas and Michigan early in the season. But hey, at least they...
