Bradley Wiggins will lead Team Sky at the upcoming Tour of Britain in preparation for this month's Road World Championships in Florence, Italy.
Wiggins was unable to defend his 2012 Tour de France title because of injury but returned to action at the Tour of Poland at the start of August.
The 33-year-old cyclist says he is ''feeling really good'' and the world time trial championships are his ''main late-season goal.'' He will be looking to add the world time trial title to his Olympic gold from 2012 in the same event.
Wiggins withdrew from last year's Tour of Britain because of a stomach bug. The Tour of Britain starts Sept. 15.
