Alicia Keys will “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl
This year, before Super Bowl XLVII kicks off, the national anthem will be performed by songstress Alicia Keys.
Keys, who recently released her fifth studio album, Girl On Fire, sang “America The Beautiful” during Super Bowl 39, in 2005 at EverBank Field (then Alltel Stadium) in Jacksonville. For SB 42, in 2008, she was the opening act.
Halftime entertainment will feature Beyoncé, who will be joined for a song by her Destiny’s Child sisters, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Super Bowl XLVII (47) will be broadcast live, Sunday, February 3, 2013, 6:30 PM ET on CBS.
