Oh the grand tradition of the Super Bowl commercials, the most expensive ad to date was for 4 million dollars, and who are our favorites? We have our Budweiser frogs, our celebrity athletes, Cindy Crawford, Pepsi, Coke, and more. What would you consider for a best Super Bowl commercials list? Here’s a list of five of my favorites.

We start with a diet Pepsi Max commercial. This Super Bowl 42 commercial featured the likes of Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and more. Featuring the hit song from Night at The Roxbury, “What is Love,” made famous by Chris Kattan of Saturday Night Live. Falling asleep is far too easy for these stars, so to wake them up, why a diet Pepsi Max of course, to see the video click here.

Next up when you mix the theme from Rocky, a dalmatian, and the Anheuser-Busch Horses, you get another popular ad from Super Bowl 42. The Busch Horses have had a long tradition, in this version, the underdog horse is trained by the dalmatian to take his place among the famous horses of Anheuser-Busch, to see the video, click here.

For our next commercial we’re taken back to 1993 for Super Bowl 27. Two basketball legends, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan, compete for a Big Mac and fries. Redone later with Lebron James and Dwight Howard, the players one-up each other in competition for the coveted Big Mac and Fries. To see this classic commercial, click here.

Who can forget the Cindy Crawford Pepsi era? For this commercial we go back twenty years to Super Bowl 26. For those of you who remember, and felt like those boys watching as Cindy pulls up to the gas station, drops her money in the machine and drinks the Pepsi, looking as amazing as ever. To relive this childhood memory, click here.

Last but not least we can’t have a list like this without the original kings of the Super Bowl commercial, the Budweiser Frogs. These three frogs first aired in 1995 during Super Bowl 29. For those of you who remember watching it for the first time and want to relive watching the original kings of the Super Bowl commercialclick here.

Of course these are just five out of the many great Super Bowl commercials, what would you put in your list?
