Jack Harlow wows in new Tiny Desk (Home) Concert

It doesn't matter if your March is off to a good start because Jack Harlow's March figures to be better.

The 22-year-old will serve as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live's next episode on March 27, while SNL legend Maya Rudolph will host, and Harlow gave fans a sneak peek with Wednesday's Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.

The popular NPR Music series has welcomed some of the best artists music has to offer since debuting in 2008, and Harlow held his own from his living room with cuts from his debut studio album That's What They All Say. The Louisville native began with "Rendezvous," then briefly introduced himself before slipping into "a few songs that I never performed before" such as "21C/Delta," "Creme" and "Funny Seeing You Here."

Before diving into "Same Guy," featuring the one and only Adam Levine, Harlow gave some context: "It's been a long time since I had a chance to perform, and I've never done it like this. This is special, and this next song is one of the most honest songs I've ever written. It's magic."

Not to worry, Harlow's grand finale was none other than his mammoth single and first top-10 hit "What's Poppin." The single was first released in January 2020 before getting the remix treatment last summer:

Harlow was named to XXL's Freshman Class of 2020, which he called "such a bucket list moment for me" at the time. Little did he know then how many bucket list to-dos he would be able to check off in the coming months, including SNL and a Grammy nomination:

Whether "What's Poppin" takes home the Grammy for best rap performance will be decided March 14.

In the meantime, if all of this still isn't enough, Harlow dropped an official music video for "Route 66" earlier this week.
