In the clip, we're introduced Alice (Florence Pugh) basking in a lounge chair before she passionately kisses Jack (Harry Styles). There's a blink-if-you-miss-it glimpse at Chris Pine as Frank, too, as well as Alice underwater. There is absolutely no context to any of this, but there is one concrete detail: the period crime drama will hit theaters Sept. 23, 2022.
Directed by Wilde, Don't Worry Darling centers around 1950s housewife Alice "living with her husband in a utopian experimental community" as she "begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets" (h/t IMDb).
Shia LaBeouf was originally cast as Jack, but he was fired by Wilde.
"He is not an easy guy to work with," an unnamed source told Variety last December. The source also called LaBeouf "off-putting" and cited Wilde's "zero a—hole policy" on her sets. LaBeouf was replaced by Styles, who has since been romantically linked to Wilde.
