WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appeared on Monday’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC. The following are the highlights of the interview.

-Leno introduced him as Dwayne Johnson, but a “Rocky” chant broke out immediately, which Rock acknowledged briefly to get the chant to stop.

-Rock told a story about his college football fight. He was playing for the University of Miami and there was a fight with the San Diego State University football team. He said he saw the SDSU mascot playing it up, so he chased the mascot into the stands but never caught him. He recalled the coaches being upset with the team. “The worst thing that could have happened, it was on ESPN and my mom saw it,” Rock said.

-Leno brought up The Rock’s return to pro wrestling and said he’s happy to see it. “I can’t wait to go back,” Rock said. “I can’t wait for WrestleMania, because I love it and I’m passionate about it.”

-Rock recalled a WWE wardrobe malfunction that he experienced. He said he was striking the pose on the ropes on live television. “I didn’t know, but one of my boulders had popped out,” Rock said with a laugh.

-After a commercial break, Leno recalled The Rock singing in WWE. Rock said he wanted to pay homage to Frank Sinatra and sing to the Madison Square Garden crowd. He said he was having problems remembering a part of the song. He called Brian Gewirtz a good friend and said he asked him to write down the correct words. He said he looked to Gewirtz during the performance and he held up a blank piece of paper with the words written on the side he couldn’t see. They showed a recent photo of Rock standing next to Gewirtz, who was holding up a blank piece of paper.

-Rock performed “What a Wonderful World” while sitting on Leno’s couch. He changed the words to include “this kick ass crowd” to get the easy pop.

-Rock set up a clip from “The Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” that comes out on Friday. The clip aired and Rock’s segment concluded.
