Rolling Stone Magazine recently reported the Rolling Stones will continue their 50th anniversary celebrations by playing 18 North American shows kicking off in May. The band will keep the party going after that: they just announced on their official app they will headline the Glastonbury festival on Saturday, June 29th. “We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good, we can”t wait to play Glastonbury,” Keith Richards said in a statement. “See you on a summer’s day in England.” Other acts on the bill for the huge long-running festival, which runs from June 26th to the 30th at Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, include the Arctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Smashing Pumpkins, Elvis Costello, Portishead, Public Enemy, Nas, Tyler the Creator, Alabama Shakes, Jake Bugg and more.
