Sausage Party was a box office hit and made waves with critics who gave it a Certified Fresh 82% rating upon release. Audiences weren't as enthusiastic, rating it rotten at 50%, but the film has earned itself a dedicated following of people who sing its praises.

Made on a $19 million budget, Sausage Party went on to land itself a whopping $140.7 million at the box office during its theatrical run in 2016.

The eccentric story follows a sausage, a hot dog bun, a taco and a bagel who learn the tragic truth about what happens to food items when they go home from the supermarket.

Audiences can catch up with Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy from July 11 when the series hits Prime Video.
