Lewis Hamilton ahead of the ongoing campaign, dropped a major bomb with his 2025 Ferrari announcement. A lot has been made of his sensational move and the former four-time world champion, Alain Prost, has also shared a fascinating viewpoint on it.

The Frenchman feels when Lewis Hamilton joins Ferrari next year, it will be a major scenery change for him. Moreover, the Brit might experience a bit of pressure while trying to settle in on the Maranello-based outfit.

At Ferrari, things will be very different in comparison to how things have been for him at Mercedes.

While Alain Prost believes Hamilton would find it a bit tough settling in at Ferrari, he understands as to why the latter decided to leave Mercedes. It has been over two years since the 39-year-old has been able to challenge for the coveted F1 world championship.

In 2021, he lost out on the title under shady circumstances against Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

I can understand his decision because obviously when you are in a team like Mercedes, when they did not win a race for two years and they are really struggling to go back to the front. Alain Prost said in the same interview
