The seven-time world championship winner, Lewis Hamilton was cheered on in massive numbers by the Italian crowd during the recently concluded 2024 Imola event. One of the main reasons behind this was his joining Scuderia Ferrari in 2025. Hamilton was overwhelmed by the reception he received from the supporters after the 63-lap race and was quite excited seeing the heartwarming reaction.

Lewis Hamilton announced at the start of the season that he would be leaving Mercedes after 12 glorious years, and that, he had signed a contract with Scuderia Ferrari for a period of two years from 2025 onward. Hamilton would be pairing up with Charles Leclerc next year.

Hamilton is rumored to earn more than 100 million euros per season after joining Ferrari. With the Maranello-based team, he hopes to bag their first championship since Kimi Räikkönen won it in 2007.

They've been so supportive for quite some time, actually, but I definitely feel the energy now, and it's going to be a dream next year, being here. Lewis Hamilton spoke during the drivers parade

Hamilton looks to win his record eighth driver championship title at Ferrari, which he narrowly missed out on after a last-minute loss to Max Verstappen at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Since that accursed night, the Brit has been on a downward spiral at the pinnacle of motor racing.

Lewis Hamilton reflects on Mercedes’ performance at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton finished P6, with his teammate George Russell finishing P7 at the end of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix GP. It was yet another lackluster performance by the Brackley-based Mercedes F1 team.

We got points, so that is a positive. We are in the middle of no mans land. I don't think there was much more we could have got. Lewis Hamilton said during his Post-Race interview

Mercedes seemed powerless yet again this weekend against the likes of McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull. The German outfit is yet to register a Grand Prix win or a podium this season.

Lewis Hamilton concluded post-race that Mercedes scored the best possible result for themselves at the end of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as they were in ‘no man’s land’ compared to the other teams. Fans now wait for the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, where the Mercedes F1 team will have several eyes on them for varied reasons.
