He added how he’ll let his children pursue the career they want and not burden them by pushing them into racing.

No, i’d advise them not to be a driver. Ofcourse, if he or she wants to race, and I see the potential, I would go for it, like my dad did. But I would never actively push.. You shouldn’t push your kids into something you like, they need to come to you.

The 26-year-old also shared how pushing children into something isn’t the best strategy for bringing them up as they might get disinterested in it after they grow up. At such a young age, the Dutchman seems really wise in his decision-making regarding the children he’ll have at some point in the coming years.

F1 pundit reveals one reason Max Verstappen might leave Red Bull

Max Verstappen’s partnership with Red Bull has been going on since his karting days. The Dutchman was the Austrian outfit’s golden boy in his younger years and ever since the start of his F1 career, he has driven with their junior team, Toro Rosso (VCARB), and is currently driving for Red Bull itself.

The Sky Sports pundit added how the only way he sees the 26-year-old leaving the Austrian team is if Mercedes has a similar engine advantage in 2026, to what they did back in 2014 when the new regulations were introduced. If Verstappen does decide to move, and the Silver Arrows do have an engine like they did in 2014, it will mirror Lewis Hamilton‘s move from McLaren to Mercedes ahead of 2013. However, as things stand, the possibility of this happening is very low.
