The Pitt Panthers are locking up and loading a bevy of official visits for the month of June and that will include Virginia defensive back Cole Woodson.

A three-star talent according to Rivals.com, Woodson announced that he will take an official trip to Pitt from June 13-15 after recently visiting the program on March 26.

After taking in spring practice, Woodson felt it was necessary to establish a time to return back to Pittsburgh.

“I enjoyed sitting in on the meetings and practice as well as seeing much of the campus,” Woodson told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “In speaking with coach Narduzzi and coach Sanders, I feel that they are both good men and coaches that know how to develop talent out of high school. I was impressed overall with my visit and knew I had to get back.”

Woodson, who stands at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, picked up an offer from Sanders, Pitt’s safeties coach, and the Panthers on Jan. 30.

The Class of 2025 product out of Battlefield High School in Haymarket, Va. did not allow a touchdown this past fall and returned three interceptions for scores, along with seven pass breakups.

Woodson will also visit fellow ACC programs in Duke from June 7-9 and Virginia from June 20-23. With Pitt, Duke and Virginia, Woodson additionally holds offers from West Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Temple and others.

With Woodson scheduling his official visit, it marks the 18th player in the Class of 2025 to set official visits with the Panthers. Woodson will be joined by Justin Guerrier, Devinn Farris, Rukeem Stroud, Jordan Fields, CJ Ross, Bryson Jones and Chris Vigna to visit Pitt between June 13-15.
