Big 12 2024 Football Schedule: TCU Edition

Team Overview for 2023

TCU finished 2023 5-7 and 3-6 in conference this wasn’t a good season for the Horned Frogs. The offense put up 466 yards which should have been enough to win games but it wasn’t. On the defensive side, they allowed 408 yards per game and couldn’t keep the Big 12 opponents out of the endzone.

Stanford

TCU and Stanford last faced off in 2017 in the Valero Alamo Bowl with TCU taking the 39-37 victory. This series sits at 3-0 for the Horned Frogs and they will get the fourth win this fall.

Long Island

There are no previous recorded matchups between Long Island and TCU. TCU will get the first win of this matchup this fall and be 2-0 in 2024.

UCF

These two have also never met up on the football field before this year. TCU is predicted to get the win this fall and be undefeated so far in 2024. This matchup will happen many more times now that both are in the Big 12.

SMU

The Horned Frogs will take on SMU to finish nonconference play in 2024. They faced off last season and TCU won 34-17 and the Horned Frogs have 53-42-7 on this series. This time around though they will lose and be 3-1 in 2024.

Kansas

They last played in 2022 when the Horned Frogs won 38-31. This series has been played 39 and TCU has 26 wins and they have tied four times. TCU will lose this game in 2024.

Houston

TCU beat Houston last year when they faced off and TCU won 36-13 in 2023. This series is tied at 13 games a piece. The Horned Frogs will win this matchup in 2024.

Utah

These two last faced off in 2010 when the Horned Frogs won 47-7 over the Utes. Utah has five wins in this eight-game series and will add to that this season. The Horned Frogs will lose this game and be 4-3 on the season.
