Muriqi made 27 Serie A appearances this campaign for the Biancocelesti, for a total of 821 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal, failing to replicate the form he found in Istanbul.

The Kosovan forward averaged 3.46 shots per 90 minutes this season, but only 21.9% of these were on target. He did underperform though, considering that his expected goals this season was 4.6. The season prior in Turkey, Muriqi averaged 3.87 shots per 90, with 40.9% of them being on target.
