Former Celtics center Robert Williams potentially out for season due to knee injury
Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

The tough breaks keep coming for Robert Williams. Traded by the Celtics prior to the season, he once again will need knee surgery. And it's one of those could be out for the season if they repair it with his long term health preferred or two to three months if they perform just a "clean up."

Williams had one of those clean up surgeries the second half of the 2021-22 season. He returned during the playoffs as the Celtics made it to the NBA Finals that season. Guess here is since the Blazers are rebuilding, Williams will end up missing the full season, which will hopefully keep him healthier in future seasons.
