Nottingham Forest midfielder Dominguez: I did wait for AC Milan offer

Nottingham Forest midfielder Nicolas Dominguez admits he was hoping to hear from AC Milan last summer.

Dominguez joined Forest from Bologna in August.

But he told gianlucadimarzio.com: "Yes, there was talk about it [interest from Milan] and I read a bit about it.

"I even waited for the Rossoneri but nothing... I'm happy with the choice to come here.

"Life here is a bit different compared to Italy, but both my family and I are very happy here. If I have to be honest, I don't miss Italy that much. We Argentinians are used to many cultures. Having said that, however, the adaptation to football was more difficult."
