When Pitt hosts its official visitors in June, one of those will arrive to Pittsburgh with the Panthers as one of his top schools in his recruitment process.

Bryson Jones, the Lone Star High School product out of Frisco, Texas, inserted Pitt into his top 10 schools on Wednesday, per SteezoDsgn on X.

Pitt joins a list that includes Michigan State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, SMU, Texas Tech, Boston College, Baylor and Oklahoma State.

Jones is rated as a four-star wide receiver prospect in the Class of 2025, according to On3 and ESPN, respectively.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver locked in an official visit with Pitt that will take place from June 13-15.

Jones has potential No. 1 wide receiver talent as he can take the top off any defense with his speed. He also boasts a shifty route running ability and great after-the-catch instincts.

During his junior season, Jones hauled in 59 catches for 1,120 yards and 15 touchdowns. He averaged 19 yards per catch on the way to helping Lone Star secure a district title.

Along with his stop at Pitt in June, Jones will take official visits to Arkansas from May 31 through June 2, Texas A&M from June 21-23 and Texas Tech on June 7-9.

Pitt has landed two commitments in its 2025 recruiting class with quarterback Mason Heintschel and defensive lineman Trevor Sommers verbally committing in the past two months.

The Panthers are also in the mix for a handful of other wide receivers, which includes three-star Philadelphia, Pa. native Ziyyon Bredell and three-star Kamare Williams.

Fort Worth, Texas wide out Quinton Brown also has Pitt “in the running” as his decision date looms on Sunday, April 7.
