Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has wowed plenty of his teammates in training sessions over his early run with the club, including prospect El Chadaille Bitshiabu.

In speaking during an interview with France Bleu Paris, Bitshiabu opened up on what it has been like to defend against Messi, where he admitted that he at the least has stopped the Argentine forward once.

“We don’t have many, many duels, but I was able to stop him once,” Bitshiabu said. “But still, it’s very, very complicated. He’s Lionel Messi, after all!”

From world-class dribble attempts to sheer goals, Messi has certainly been a star attraction in training so far in the ongoing campaign.

The Argentine forward returned to training earlier in the month, as he had been away from the team due to a positive COVID-19 test. The veteran forward was cleared to feature in training after producing a negative PCR test and just recently returned to action in PSG’s home Ligue 1 fixture against Reims.

PSG is currently set to take on OGC Nice in Coupe de France play up next.
