FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A day after losing the team's top scorer and rebounder to the transfer portal, Arkansas picked up an NCAA Top 10 scorer. Guard Izzy Higginbottom committed to the Razorbacks Tuesday.

Higginbottom, an incoming senior transfer from Arkansas State, averaged 22.2 points in 26 games, eighth highest in Division I. A product of Batesville High School and a former class of 2021 Top 100 overall recruit according to Prospect Nation, Higginbottom received Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2023 as a sophomore and was named First Team All-Sun Belt this past season.

This is Higginbottom's second time in the transfer portal. She brings previous SEC experience having spent her freshman season at Missouri. In 27 games, Higginbottom averaged six points and 1.3 rebounds, en route to a first-round exit in the WNIT.

The Razorbacks will look to avoid the same fate in the first round of the WBIT (formerly WNIT) against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane inside the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday and will be streamed on ESPN+.
