Which horse taught you the most about life?

Mark Taylor has been connected to some of horse racing's most important individuals through the boarding, consignment, and stallion wings of Taylor Made Farm, of which he is the president and CEO.

The horse Taylor said has taught him the most about life certainly belongs on the sizable list of Taylor Made's star graduates, having been raised by the farm and consigned by Taylor Made at auction prior to a classic-winning career.

However, Taylor's memories with this horse reach back well before the horse was wearing a blanket of Black-Eyed Susans in the Preakness Stakes winner's circle.

Based in Nicholasville, Ky., Taylor Made Farm has developed into an industry-leading Thoroughbred facility since its founding in 1976.

Since 2000, Taylor Made Sales Agency has been the leading consignor by gross at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale 18 times, the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale 18 times, and the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale 21 times.

Taylor Made Stallions has stood successful stallions including Unbridled's Song and Forestry, and the roster is currently led by the popular Not This Time.

In addition to his work at Taylor Made, Taylor is also a member of the Keeneland board of directors, and he is on the board for the Consignors and Commercial Breeders Association.
