The sixth-seed Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeated three-seed Duke, seventh-seed Clemson, and the top-seed North Carolina on their way to their third ACC Tournament Championship in school history, and second in the last four seasons. UNC made a mad dash at a comeback, hitting three three-pointers in the final 54 seconds, but the Yellow Jackets held on for a 77-75 victory. James Forest scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and was named the ACC Tournament MVP. Drew Barry had 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Barry set an ACC Tournament record with 27 assists over three games. Brian Reese led North Carolina with 24 points and six rebounds. Eric Montross added 19 points and 17 rebounds.
