The Syracuse Orange won the final 2 games of the home series to take one over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets over the weekend. The Yellow Jackets won game one in Syracuse 5-1 behind a spread out offensive attack. Madison Dobbins and Jin Sileo each had two hits and drove in runs for Tech. Syracuse got late-game heroics from freshman Makenzie Foster, as she delivered a walk-off double in the Orange's 6-5 win. The Orange secured the series victory with a 7-1 win over the Yellow Jackets in game three. Madelyn Lopez had a career-high 4-RBI in the win and pitchers Madison Knight and Julianna Verni combined to throw a 1-hitter for Syracuse while striking out 6 Tech betters in the win.
