North Carolina vs. Pitt: The #16 Tar Heels went on the road and defeated the Panthers, 16-9. Three UNC sophomores combined to score 11 of the Tar Heels' 16 goals. Sophomore Darcy Felter set new career highs with seven points and five goals. Kiley Mottice had six points to set a new career high, with four goals and two assists. Sophomore Caroline Godine had two goals and an assist for the Tar Heels. Pitt's Ave Washington came off the bench to score a team-high three goals.
