The North Carolina Tar Heels won a weekend series over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to improve to 24-9 on the season and 6-6 in conference play. It was UNC's first series win over ND since 2018. The Tar Heels won in convincing fashion in game one, beating the Fighting Irish 8-2 behind a 5-run 5th inning and a complete game 2-run performance by Kenna Raye Dark. The Irish offense battered the Heels in game two for a 10-5 win. Rachel Allen and Jane Kronenberger each went 2-4 with a homer in the win. The Heels won game three in dramatic fashion as Carlie Myrtle delivered a two-out RBI double to give UNC a 4-3 win.
