In her first year with Miami, Shayeann Day-Wilson emerged as one of the best players on the Hurricanes. Day-Wilson scored in double figures in 15 of the Hurricanes final 17 games, averaging 11.9 points per game. She was the Hurricane's top three-point shooter, making almost twice as many threes as anyone else on Miami and shooting 36.8% from beyond the arc.
