Syracuse vs. Notre Dame: The top-ranked Fighting Irish took down the third-ranked Orange, 14-12. The game was tied at three with two minutes to go in the first quarter, but by 8:36 in the second quarter Notre Dame had jumped out to an 8-4 lead and led the rest of the game. Pat Kavanagh and Eric Dobson each scored two goals and recorded an assist in the game. Chris Kavanagh also had three points for the Irish with one goal and two assists. For Syracuse, Finn Thompson led the Orange with three goals and an assist.
