After hosting four-star ATH Cameron Miller on a recruiting visit on the 22nd, the Wisconsin football program looks to be in prime position for a commitment.

247Sports experts Evan Flood and Nick Osen both cast Crystal Ball predictions for the Badgers to land the New Jersey native.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound safety has tallied 22 total offers. He announced his top five at the beginning of February, listing Wisconsin alongside Michigan, Kentucky, Syracuse, and Rutgers.

According to the composite rankings, Miller is the No. 374 player in the nation, the No. 33 cornerback, and the No. 12 player in New Jersey. It’s worth noting that Wisconsin is recruiting him as a receiver.

Wisconsin Football Well-Positioned For Cameron Miller

UW was in need of some good news on the recruiting trail after missing out on four-star TE Marshall Pritchett to North Carolina on Saturday, and they got it.

Miller spoke with Badgernotes.com before his visit and spoke highly of the Badgers staff, saying the communication and the coaching staff’s vision have kept Wisconsin near the top of his list. After getting a look at things up close, UW may have managed to shut this recruitment down.

In his junior campaign at Winslow Township, Miller took snaps as a receiver and a defensive back. He recorded 59 receptions for 1,342 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense and 39 tackles, two TFLs, and two interceptions on defense.

The four-star athlete has another spring visit lined up with Kentucky and told Badgernotes that he was targeting a decision date of July 4th, but “it may come before.” This recruitment will be worth monitoring as we draw closer to his decision date, should he stick with it.
