The DeLand Suns of the Florida Collegiate Summer League have signed University of Richmond middle-infielder Mike Small. Mike is a 5-10/160 pound sophomore from Wheaton, IL. Despite missing 21 games with a broken foot last year, he was still named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team. He hit .299 with 1 home run and 23 at-bats for the Spiders last summer. He also walked 18 times as a true freshman. College Sports Madness recently named him a preseason All-Atlantic 10 selection.
