The United States held serve at the Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.  The United States, led by the teams of Phil Mickelson/Jim Furyk and Bubba Watson/Webb Simpson take a 7-5 lead into weekend play.  The Mickelson/Furyk and Watson/Simpson tandems have both won 2 points through the first two days for the USA team.

There will be 10 points up for grabs on Saturday, followed by 12 individual match play contests on Sunday to conclude the tournament.

Tiger Woods failed to win a point on Friday for the second consecutive day, as Woods and playing partner Dustin Johnson were defeated by Australian captain Aaron Baddeley and Jason Day 1 Up.

Where do these dudes shop?
The conditions at Royal Melbourne were extremely tough on a very windy day with a high in the 90s.  Temperatures are expected to top out in the low 70s over the weekend with a high probability of rain, which should make the slick greens somewhat manageable for the final two days.
