Jim Furyk had a perfect round of golf going in his 3rd round at the Tour Championship until he hit his tee shot in the water on the 17th hole. Furyk looked like he was on cruise control out there today, he didn’t have a bogey on his card going to the 17th tee. Furyk had 15 pars and 1 birdie. Then it happened, Jim Furyk made a triple bogey on the 17th hole and lost his share of the lead with Justin Rose and Brant Snedeker. Furyk is now 3 strokes behind the leaders who are at 8 under par and has one more round to play to see if he can gain the ground back he lost in his second to last hole. We all know Jim Furyk is looking for a Ryder Cup spot and it is a well deserved spot if you ask the fans of golf around the country.
