Fan favorite Fred Couples has found some magic in his game at Riviera today. After his first round Couples is in a 12 way tie for 6th place after he shot an opening round 3 under par 68. Couples has always like playing golf in Pacific Palisades,  California. The place they call Hogan’s Alley has always fit the eye of Fred Couples. Couples had a round today that contained 5 birdies and 2 bogies. He made Birdies at holes 1-7-14-17 and 18 while his 2 bogies came on holes 3 and 11. Couples who plays the senior tour showed he still has game enough to get out there and compete with those flat bellies. How good would it be if Freddie Couples could find enough magic to play well and be in contention come Sunday? The fans would really enjoy seeing a guy like Couples with a chance to win on the PGA tour.
