It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
Louis Oosthuizen hit a 500-yard drive on a 583 yard par 5 first hole at the Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea on Friday. Oosthuizen’s ball rolled along the cart path for approximately two minutes (time it, if you want) before coming to rest about 83 yards from the hole.
My favorite part of the video are the people at the 1:20 mark who are clueless as to what’s going on. The overhead camera was similar to that of one following a car chase.
Despite being 83 yards out on after his tee ball on a par 5, Oosthuizen only parred the hole.

Louis Oosthuizen hit a monstrous 500 yard drive during the second round of the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea, but he also had a little help. Check out how Louis used a cart path to his advantage and turned what could have been a bad situation to a pretty great opportunity. The ball spent over a full minute and a half rolling along the cart path. [Golf Blogger] Article found...
Louis Oosthuizen already averages more than 300 yards per drive on the European Tour this season, but not usually in the manner he did in the Ballantine's Championship.

Louis Oosthuizen hammers a golf ball 500 yards at the Ballentine's Championship tournament in South Korea.
This is one of those things that you just have to see to believe. Even after I saw it I wasn't a 100 percent sure I believed it. It is pretty much the tale of the never ending golf shot; or at least it seemed like it was never going to end.
It isn't a Happy Gillmore-esque type shot, but Louis Oosthuizen does get a bit of assistance in knocking this drive a good 500 or...
Tweet At any given golf tournament, people are going to ooh and ah when a golfer hits a drive around 350 yards. That means he’s absolutely killing the ball off of the tee. A 350-yard drive doesn’t compare to what Louis Oosthuizen unleashed on Friday during the second round of the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea [...]
Louis Oosthuizen hit a 500 yard drive with the help of a path during the second round of the Ballantine's Championship in Korea.
And then he couldn't birdie the 583-yard par 5.
