PLAYERS: Bubba Watson

Via Gamedayr:

This is the 21st century and Bubba Watson is done with old-fashioned golf carts. His replacement, you ask? A hovercraft fit for the links.

While he’s not mixing mad beats with the Golf Boys, he’s busy redefining the modern-age golf cart.

Simply put, Watson’s hover is awesome and every golfer out there is going to be jealous after watching this video.

Tiger Woods might be back on top of the world, but Watson is making his case for “coolest” golfer on the tour.

  • Great concept, but the issue I have had with the Hovercraft concept over the years is they do not function in a hilly terrain as going down hills due to the weight in the back, they have a tendency to "swap ends".

Caption This Photo: Golfer Bubba Watson’s son Reacts to his Voice

This probably one of the best pictures you’ll see all week. In a story via Shane Bacon of Yahoo Sports, this is the adopted son of 2012 Masters Tournament winner Bubba Watson, Caleb, who heard the sound of his father’s voice while he was on a morning talk show and ran to the TV. His wife Angie posted the photo in this tweet. One of the sweetest things I’ve experienced...

Bubba Watson’s hovercraft may be the greatest golf invention ever (Video)

I’m not much of a golfer, but this absolutely amazing hovercraft created by Oakley for Bubba Watson is enough to get me out on the course. Watson, who has created funny music videos and even purchased the car from the “Dukes of Hazzard,” is all about the finer things in life. He asked Oakley to come up with a no-boundaries golf cart that could go anywhere on the course. They...

Bubba Watson and Oakley team up to create awesome hovercraft golf cart

At first I was rather skeptical that this was nothing more than an elaborate April Fools’ Day prank perpetrated by PGA pro Bubba Watson and Oakley, but then I remembered that April Fools’ Day gags work better when they happen on April Fools’ Day. And even if this is a hoax of epic proportions so be it, they did create a working prototype of a hovercraft golf cart, called BW1...

Bubba Watson has a hovercraft golf cart and it is amazing

Bubba Watson partnered up with Oakley to make this amazing new hovercraft golf cart.  Bubba wanted them to make it look like a golf cart as much as possible and I have to say that this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.  You can drive closer to the green in it because it is lighter on the ground than a normal golf cart and the best part is you can drive it over water...

Bubba Watson’s Hovercraft Golf Cart

I like seeing little “welcome to the future” things pop up around me. Sure, we don’t have flying cars or hoverboards. We don’t have those fancy auto-velcro Nikes or self drying clothes. But, we have some stuff. We have that 3d Doodler thing, inflatable concrete structures, and that crazy magic super sealer. Another thing we have thanks to 2012 Masters winner, Bubba Watson...

Bubba Watson shows off his golf cart hovercraft (Video)

Just when you thought that you had seen every golf cart, PGA golfer Bubba Watson and the fine folks over at Oakley decided to create a golf cart hovercraft. For those of you saying that this might be a belated April Fools Day joke, it isn't:

Bubba Watson Makes Golfers Everywhere Jealous With Hovercraft Golf Cart (Video)

Bubba Watson‘s personal golf cart is a hovercraft. Yes, you read that correctly. The professional golfer showed off his new toy in a YouTube video released Tuesday, and it looks just as awesome as you would imagine a hovercraft golf cart looking. The machine, which looks like something out of ‘The Jetsons,’ is also surprisingly practical, as Watson explains that his golf cart...

Bubba Watson Says His Strategy for Beating Tiger Woods at Masters Is ‘Hopefully He Gets Sick’ (Video)

Tiger Woods is looking pretty Tiger-like coming into the Masters this year. He won his last two tournaments, and the official odds of him winning the Masters this year have only risen as the major approaches. Even defending champ Bubba Watson knows the newly resurgent Woods will be hard to beat in this one. He had an interesting strategy when CNN’s Piers Morgan asked him about...
