PGA superstar Dustin Johnson has been partnered up with the old man of his girlfriend, Paulina Gretzky, for three rounds of play at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Yep, with Thursday’s play in the bag, Johnson will be navigating the treaherous terrain that is the Monterey Peninsula with none other than The Great One, Wayne Gretzky. Talk about awkward, right? Not so fast, says Johnson, who by all appearances seems to be quite fond of the family of his new girlfriend. And ever since they became a confirmed item since rumors began to swirl in early January, Johnson and Gretzky have been nearly inseparable, seen on numerous occasions spending time enjoying the company of one another. With that in mind, it’s presumable that Johnson has met and hung out with the tightly knit Gretzky clan, and on Thursday, Johnson assured The Golf Channel that there would be no awkwardness between himself and Big Daddy Gretzky.
