Crazy or not, you have to admit the guy does a pretty good bird imitation.
Webb Simpson won the 2012 U.S. Open for the first major championship of his career by not sucking as bad as the rest of the field at The Olympic Club. During the presentation of the U.S. Open trophy, as Simpson was being interviewed by Bob Costas, a rather odd gentleman sporting a Union Jack hat entered the frame and began squawking like a bird.
Well, that was awkward. Have to love Webb’s comment to the videobomber as he’s hauled off by security:
“Enjoy the jail cell, pal.”
So long as he’s still wearing that tremendous hat while doing bird calls, I have to believe he will.

Webb Simpson's U.S. Open victory was both special and hilarious. Nothing about Simpson's play, which included four big birdies around the turn, was particularly funny, but the golfer's post-tournament interview with NBC's Bob Costas ended up delivering plenty of comedic value. As Simspon accepted his trophy and answered questions from Costas, a crazed fan suddenly...
Webb Simpson was in the middle of an interview at the US Open when a guy jumped in the middle of the shot and started to crow like a rooster. You really can’t make this stuff up. Not only did he make strange sounds in front of Bob Costas and Webb Simpson, he was also wearing a very particular mohawk type hat. Costas and Simpson tried to brush off the incident but it was so awkward...
