Steve Stricker has a bad habit of losing big leads. He managed to slip back into his old habit of winning.
BEST OF MAXIM
It was four years ago that Steve Stricker and his wife, Nicki, were driving on Oahu during Monday of Sony Open week when a friend from home phoned Nicki with some interesting news. Stricker, coming off a runner-up finish at the Mercedes-Benz Championships at Kapalua, had climbed to No. 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
That's right. At the time it was Tiger, Phil ... and...
Ahh, the cameraman. One of the most forgotten people in sports. They bust humps, give us great pictures, and carry heavy equipment all the time without every getting acknowledged. So when Steve Stricker gave the Golf Channel cameraman a fist bump after his second shot into the 17th hole at Kapalua on Monday, it was pretty special. Here is the video. Tim Tebow grew from Gators legend to Broncos legend over the weekend.
Football season is in high gear and it’s all I’ve been writing about for the past four months.
The NFL Playoffs began last weekend as Tim Tebow delivered the Miracle at Mile High with a Denver Broncos victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The BCS National Championship was a predictable snore-fest ending in...
And we're off! The first week of Devil Ball's Fantasy Golf is over and done with, and hopefully you drafted Steve Stricker for your squad. Covert Operations did, along with Bill Haas, Mark Wilson and Martin Laird, and look what happened: they won! Second place went to Foreplay, while third went to pw (come on, get a better name) and Wolverines.
It's never too late to...
