The top 30 players on The Champions Tour head to the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona for the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Throughout the 2012 season, players have earned points for top ten finishes in each tournament on Tour. Heading into the final three regular-season tournaments, Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Roger Chapman, Michael Allen and Fred Couples occupy the top five positions. Langer won The Cup in 2010 and Lehman is the defending champion, so both players know what it takes to claim the title. Last year, Jay Don Blake won the tournament by two strokes, but the overall Charles Schwab Cup title went down to the wire. Lehman and Mark Calcavecchia were both in the running with Calcavecchia needing Lehman to finish no better than a two-way tie for 12th. Calcavecchia needed to finish no worse than tied for second with no more than one other player. Lehman finished tied for 18th and Calcavecchia finished 2nd. But three other players tied Calcavecchia, giving Lehman the title by the slimmest of margins. Tune in for the excitement of playoff golf to see who will be this year's Charles Schwab Champion.
