The Victory Formation:
On Masters Eve, I’ve noticed an eerie calm. Consider the past three Masters starting with Phil’s 2010 win highlighted by his incendiary Saturday and shot from the trees on Sunday. The 2011 Masters, where Tiger’s front 9 charge lit the fuse for what was one of the most incredible golf tournaments I’ve ever seen that would’ve been almost impossible to top if not for Louis Oosthuizen’s double eagle and Bubba’s all-time great shot last year. And yet, despite this crescendo we’ve been riding, I feel this nervous energy around seemingly everyone I’ve talked to about this year’s tournament that’s kind of thrown me for a loop and I think it’s entirely Tiger’s fault. As you can tell by the post’s title, I don’t think Tiger Woods will win the 2013 Masters. I can’t make it any clearer than that. What?! What does this mean?! Is Tiger back? Is he ever going to win a major again? Is he a disappointment?!?! Before you even think that ****, shut up. Just shut the **** up. Did you not see his three wins this year? He’s all-the-way-the-****-back, ok? Do we have this established? He’s hitting his irons just preposterous distances, accurately and putting [...]

If such a feat is possible, then Tiger Woods put up a quiet 2-under-par 70 in the first round of the Masters on Thursday as Australia's Marc Leishman and Sergio Garcia both fired a 66 to share the lead.
Woods, heavily favored coming into the tournament, made a bogey at No. 14 and saw a short birdie putt slide by the hole on No. 15 to mar what could have been an even better start...

As the first round of the 2013 Masters is fully underway, the eyes of the golf world will firmly be on the eyes of Tiger Woods.
During the 11th hole par-4, Tiger's second shot somehow landed on the green near the hole and even caused Tiger to drop some salty language after seeing it land:

After a year of anticipation, Bubba Watson's Champions Dinner menu at the Masters Club was revealed, and it was very underwhelming.
With the 2013 Masters coming up, not only must Tiger and Rory perform well, but they've got to look fresh while at it. Check out how Nike is dressing these two at Augusta.
We love it when readers send us links or emails about interesting things they would like us to write about or include in a future article. On Tuesday, 2012 Masters Champion Bubba Watson, tweeted out the menu for the Masters Champions Dinner. As a tradition, the defending champion gets to pick the menu. It’s just another cool thing you may not have known about the Masters.
The most exciting tournament in golf is nearly upon us, and most of us are anxious to see if its a new pair of shoulders that the coveted Green Jacket is draped over on Sunday or one of the wily veterans. With The Masters set to begin on Thursday and some people still feeling the sting from their busted NCAA Tournament brackets, a Masters pool can be a great way to try to erase some...
Day 1 at Augusta National was a day full of big names in the hunt, and a few newcomers shining at the top. Australian Marc Leishman finished the day with an early lead with a 6-under 66, and compatriot under-the-radar David Lynn put on a show with the putter to finish the day at -4. Sergio Garcia managed to not implode and finished tied for the lead at 6-under. There’s plenty of...
