“No Cup is Safe,” the new commercial featuring Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, the dynamic duo who together comprise a duarchy and collectively are the torch-bearers of the Nike Golf brand, certainly is a great spot and has attracted a lot of attention since its release earlier this week. But it is now being reported that while it is an impressive commercial, because of scheduling issues, the two PGA Tour superstars’ parts in the commercial were filmed separately. The magic of modern technology, indeed. Perhaps just as interesting is that the commercial reportedly was shot way back in October. McIlroy’s part reportedly was shot first and a few days later Tiger did his part with a stand-in reading Rory’s lines. Despite being shot days apart and the two never being at the shoot at the same time, both Rory and Tiger spent several hours filming their respective parts for the commercial, where the two engage in one-upmanship while exchanging some playful banter. Watching the commercial a...

Tiger Woods and his newly minted Nike Golf protégé, Rory McIlroy, shared an awkward moment while making a boatload of cash for appearing at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship in the United Arab Emirates. During some amusingly conceived photo-op, Woods and McIloy, who were paired together in the first round of the tourney, are poured a drink from a ornate carafe. But what occurred...
It’s no secret that the dissolution of Tiger Woods‘ marriage to supermodel Elin Nordegren set off a chain of events — beginning Thanksgiving 2009 — which precipitated perhaps the hardest fall from grace an athlete has experienced since O.J. With Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods struggling to shake off rust, Justin Rose and unheralded Jamie Donaldson took the spotlight at the Abu Dhabi Championship in opening rounds of 5-under 67.
Someone isn’t telling the truth.
We reported earlier that Woods was possibly dating skier Lindsey Vonn, now a report courtesy of Larry Brown Sports via the National Enquirer is saying that Woods is desperately trying to get his ex-wife Elin back.
So, which one is it?
I tend to believe the Vonn story more than the Elin story for one reason? The ridiculously stipulations they are...
These two have been linked together for a while now and it seems more and more that this could be something. In November of 2012 Vonn told the The Denver Post that they were ‘just friends”.
But on his way to play in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, Woods was seen making a pit stop in Salzburg, Austria (photo above) landing his private Jet on Sunday and leaving on Monday...
