Adam Scott was hot on Thursday, steady on Friday and steady again today. Scott shot a 2-under 68 in the third round of the tournament and currently sits at 11-under heading into the final day of the 2012 British Open. Scott can thank his putter for giving him a huge opportunity to grab his 1st Major since breaking into the PGA Tour in 2001. Scott started the day in 2nd place behind Brandt Snedeker, but Snedeker faltered shooting a 3-over 73. Snedeker was able to find his swing at the end of the round, birdeing 2 of his last three holes and is currently 4 shots behind Scott and tied for 2nd place with Graeme McDowell. Sitting behind Snedeker and McDowell is Tiger Woods at 6-under. Woods had an up and down day today with 3 bogies, 3 birdies and 12 pars.
