With the start of The Masters only two weeks away and Tiger Woods having to bow out of his last PGA Tour tournament due to injury, questions arose in the media if Tiger was going to be ready for the first Major of the year. Woods decided to squash those rumors by taking to the media himself as he visited The Scott Van Pelt Show on ESPN Radio and sat down with Tom Rinaldi at ESPN to discuss his Achilles injury, which prevented him from finishing his final round of the WGC Cadillac Championship. According to Tiger, his Achilles is feeling fine and he’s back to hitting balls and is on schedule to make it to The Masters in early April.

In order to be fully ready for The Masters, Tiger has a very busy schedule this week. He just finished playing the Tavastock Cup, which is a two day exhibition tournament and he’ll also be playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitation later this week. He had a solid showing at the Tavastock Cup, but is still working to find his putting stroke. He missed multiple times from within 12 feet and still needs to work on his putting to get back to true Tiger form.

Check out the highlights from his Tavastock Cup performance and his TV interview with ESPN below:
