The second event of the 2013 European Tour season is the Alfred Dunhill Championship played at Leopard Creek Country Club in South Africa. Since this event's inaugural championship in 1995, which was won by Ernie Els, a host of top notch players such as Nick Price, Adam Scott, Charl Schwartzel, and Alvaro Quiros have hoisted the champions trophy. Last year, Garth Mulroy won the championship on his home soil and became the 100th South African win in European Tour history. Mulroy's win was quite dramatic as he lost his two-shot overnight lead just two holes into the final round, but later cemented his victory with birdies on the 15th and 16th, the later with a 60-foot downhill putt. FOX Sports will feature four-round coverage of this event as the European Tour continues all season long on the Race to Dubai.
