On Sunday evening, a public exchange of tweets between Caroline Woznaicki and fellow Danish athlete Dane Thorbjorn Olesen, a pro golfer who will be making his debut at the Masters this week, appeared to indicate that the tennis pro intends to caddy for her boyfriend Rory McIlroy during Wednesday’s traditional Par 3 Contest at Augusta National Golf Club in advance of the Masters. The problem is that Wozniacki, for some curious reason, deleted the tweets from her account shortly afterward. But the tweets do remain on Olesen’s Twitter account conversation timeline. Via @Thorbjornolesen: @lukedonald @thorbjornolesen haha! — Caroline Wozniacki (@CaroWozniacki) April 7, 2013 @thorbjornolesen yeah I am! Gonna be fun! Are you playing the par 3? — Caroline Wozniacki (@CaroWozniacki) April 7, 2013 Most peculiar. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see if Miss Wozniacki caddies for her boyfriend on Wednesday. We do know that she will in fact be in attendance, as she tweeted on Sunday that she was en route to Augusta. Something from her underwear line, perhaps? Preferably with something over them. Augusta can be very prudish in that regard. The romance between Wozniacki and McIlroy has been a whirlwind of speculation that their relationship has had adverse effects on their respective careers, but they are so darn adorable together it’s hard not to root for them to make it work, despite the many criticisms and conjecture that have been directed at the couple even since they initially began to date. Sure, perhaps not as much as Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn, but the two have been under the microscope nevertheless. While it remains to be seen if Rory has corrected his early season doldrums on the course sufficiently enough, at least he knows his gal will be on hand to cheer him on. Which is nice. I wonder what she’ll be wearing. Oh, and there is this tweet from Caroline Woznaicki where she informs Rory McIlroy that she has bought a present for him: Lucky Guy ☺ “@carowozniacki: Look what I got you @mcilroyrory #justbecauseyouareyou twitter.com/CaroWozniacki/…” — Rory Mcilroy (@McIlroyRory) April 6, 2013   The hashtag “#justbecauseyourareyou”? Awwww. Too darn adorable, indeed. [H/T Wei Under Par] TweetThe post Wozniacki tweets she’ll be Rory McIlroy’s caddy during Masters Par 3 Contest appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
