Lotus releases 2 teams from engine contracts
Struggling engine manufacturer Lotus released Bryan Herta Autosport and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing from its IndyCar engine contracts Tuesday.

Bryan Herta Autosport pulls out of Brazil race
Bryan Herta Autosport says it will not travel to next week's IndyCar race in Brazil and will instead focus on preparing for the Indianapolis 500.
The team made the announcement Thursday night on Twitter, and Herta confirmed the decision to The Associated Press.
IndyCar will load the team's freight Friday morning and head to Brazil for the April 29 race.
